Cool Companies survives 2009 recession
Our new business model was recently confirmed; Cool Companies will continue to publish one new book a year based on our business development format.
Relaunch as an innovative business development tool
It only took five years, but now we have the right formula: Since our magazine format didn’t work, we reinvented Cool Companies again. This time it’s a winner with readers around the world and a commercial success.
New polished magazine editorial formula
Cool Companies 2007 Vol 2 issue 2 is a marked change from previous issues! This is its new editorial formula moving forward. Its editorial is also up a notch, evidence that the magazine’s Editorial Advisory Committee is making a difference. Take a look at the issue. Every page is full-colour with beautiful graphics. It continues to be printed on high quality paper, now with less pages per issue and a reduced cover price of $12.95.
Canada’s best editorial advisor joins our team
The Chair of Cool Companies’ Editorial Advisory Committee is Donald Rumball, former Business Editor of The Financial Post and the intraprenueur, founding Editor and Publisher who conceived and started Profit magazine from scratch in 1982.
Cool Companies becomes peer-to-peer reviewed
To support its For Entrepreneurs By Entrepreneurs™ editorial strategy, Cool Companies magazine becomes a peer-to-peer publication, like a scientific journal. All articles are proved by its committee of experienced Canadian entrepreneur.
Cool Companies becomes national
Cool Companies magazine’s 2007 Vol 2 Issue 1 is its first issue with Canadian-wide content, and the birth of its Canada-wide readership.
Refined focus: For Entrepreneurs By Entrepreneurs™
In its second publishing year, Cool Companies realizes it must narrow its editorial strategy. It selects For Entrepreneurs By Entrepreneurs™. This refined editorial strategy is a promise to be loyal to the voice of the entrepreneur. As a result, Cool Companies’ editorial begins to get away from profiling companies and focuses on developing innovative insights for entrepreneurs through direct collaboration with experienced Canadian entrepreneurs.
