I couldn't agree more. Two entrepreneurs that I mentor won "Business of the Year" for an organization called Canadian Youth Business Foundation. As part of this program entrepreneurs receive funding AND a mentor. My 2 entrepreneurs proudly state that although a mentor was not originally wanted... the valued they received from having someone "in your corner" paid off more than the funding they received.
